The Yamato region is bordered by Mie, Shiga and Kyoto prefectures where they produce high-quality green tea. The balance of sunlight and fog and humidity conditions offered by mountains and rivers in the north of Nara Prefecture, provides the perfect environment for growing green tea. The cultivation of this tea method extended to other areas of Japan of Nara, but only tea grown in the original Yamato area has the original flavor.
